Arrived Australia 1854 with wife Jane and nine (9) children. The tenth was born 17th April 1857. Jane died 24th July 1857
This marble plaque is located in what was Paddington Presbyterian church now Parlor X. See photo below with a location link. The plaque is still on the wall on the interior RHS partially occluded by a room divider but still worth a visit.

This family tree information came from Elizabeth Shannon from Yass a descendant of one of James Milne’s daughters who married either William or John McBean. Elizabeth gave the portrait of Rev James Milne to the North Sydney Presbyterian church for safe keeping in 2006. The portrait was restored by a conservator when acquired by the church.
